Ingredients
- 100g soft brown sugar
- 100g golden caster sugar
- 100g butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 225g plain flour
- 140g milk chocolate, melted
- 85g white chocolate, chips or chopped into chunks
- 85g plain chocolate, chips or chopped into chunks
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Line one to two baking sheets with baking parchment. Combine the 'sugars' and butter with a wooden spoon, then add the egg, vanilla extract, flour and half of the melted milk chocolate. Mix everything together. Incorporate the white and dark chocolate chips or chunks, then use an ice-cream scoop or a measuring teaspoon to place even balls of cookie dough on the baking sheets.
- Step 2: Cook in portions for 8-9 minutes until they turn a light golden color and are still soft to press. Move onto a drying rack immediately after they are ready to be removed, then top with the left-over melted chocolate.
