Ingredients
- 18g ground espresso, or 1 espresso pod
- 250ml milk
You will also need
- large cup, 300-350ml capacity
Instructions
- Step 1: Utilizing your coffee machine, brew an espresso with a volume of approximately 35ml and add it to the bottom of your cup.
- Step 2: Activate the steamer attachment to heat the milk and create roughly 2-3cm of foam on top. Position the jug so the tip of the spout is around 3-4cm above the cup. Pour the mixture in at a steady rate, and bring the jug closer and closer to the surface of the beverage as the fill level rises. As it nears the top of the cup, tilt the jug to increase the speed and direct the flow to the centre. This will cause the milk to ricochet off the back of the cup and swirl around the circumference, yielding a patterned finish.
