Ahhh, honey flapjacks. A classic, sweet treat that never disappoints. It's the kind of recipe that, once you master it, you'll have it memorized forever! With the combination of a few simple ingredients, and a few simple steps, you can make these delectable treats in under 25 minutes!
It starts with butter, sugar and honey melted together in a pan until they form a beautiful and creamy mixture. To this, you add oats into a bowl, mixing until they form a crunchy mixture that will become the base of your flapjacks.
You spread it out evenly in a tin and bake for between 10 and 15 minutes — just until the top is lightly golden — and let it cool in the tin.
Once that's done, you can take it out and cut it into pieces. That's it — you have your homemade honey flapjacks ready to eat. They're sweet and gooey on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Perfect for a mid-morning snack or an after-school munch.
So why not give it ago, and make your own divine honey flapjacks today? Best served warm and with a cup of tea —
